The following prayer is for action on climate change

The Uniting Church in Australia has joined other Christian churches and faith groups in national action on climate change.

The following worship resources have been collated by Rev. Susan Pickering, and can be used during an International Day of Peace worship service.

Already in 2016 there have been a number of extreme weather events devastating communities in Australia and around the world. Last year was declared the hottest year on record. Human induced climate change is a significant threat to human life, to future generations and to a just peace.

This year our International Day of Peace resource explores three important Building Blocks for Peace - gender equality, climate justice, and nuclear disarmament.
